VSTE 2008 – Headed to VSTE in the morning

VSTE

Hello, everyone. This will be the first time I have attended the Virginia Society for Technology in Education. Since I did not start this blog back in August like I wanted to, I have decided to begin it now. My mentor, Rich K., and I will be leaving the Beach in a division car early Sunday morning, with hopes of arriving in Roanoke, Va., around 1 p.m. I’m really looking forward to having a good time, meeting a lot of like-minded educators, and working with the latest in technology for the classroom.  In the meantime, I need to finish packing (what WILL I wear to the Hillbilly Hoedown?), make sure all my gadgets are charged (do they make a notebook bag with a built-in power strip?) and finish converting a few of my favorite movies to travel friendly formats, in case I have the time to catch a flick or two.

Keep an eye out for updates. Until then, back to packing!

    Hi Steve-

Congratulations on your new blog! I started my blog last summer but I find it is difficult to keep up with posting. As I add items to my monthly CRS report, I should just add them to my blog. I like your choice of banners–crisp and clean. I will add you to my feeder and blog roll. Looking forward to hearing about the interesting sessions you attend at VSTE. Enjoy! Marie
